Fulora Foundation’s efforts to extend our kindness to all areas of society are reflected in the numerous initiatives it has done thus far. Many initiatives that are still in the planning and implementation stages are similarly far-sighted and promising.
Our country is rapidly progressing in terms of socioeconomic development. Old ideas, traditions, and practises are giving way to newer forms. The ordinary Indian now has a broader view of life than ever before. Every educated individual in India nowadays is more conscious of his or her position in society. Knowledge of his environment is now as essential as knowledge of himself.
In such a magnificent scenario, the coexistence of an essentially parallel society on the streets, one that is miles apart from the delicate social framework that we have worked so hard to build over the years, one that effectively undermines all the gains we have earned, comes as a startling shock. What You Can Do with a Single Rupee Amount (in Rupees)* Full Name* Indeed, not less than five lakh destitute individuals live on Mumbai’s streets alone. They live a life that is less than compassionate, whether due to fate or society. They have learned to accept their wretched life as their destiny, despite being stripped of their dignity and denied of their basic rights.

Work together to ensure child's future
While it may or may not be too late to change adults’ deeply ingrained beliefs, we can certainly provide a better upbringing for the nation’s children. We can show them bright futures in education, a respectable way of life, and social acceptance. Adults can also make an attempt in this manner. At some point, we must all take responsibility for putting our good intentions into action, giving shape to our ideas, and taking action to change what we can.
Fulora Foundation was founded in 1984 by Late Prof. Ram Joshi (noted educationalist and former Vice Chancellor of Mumbai University) and Mr. Arun Sabnis with this aim in mind (C.M.D. of Creator Advertising Agency Ltd.). Under the Public Charitable Trust Act of 1950, Fulora Foundation is registered as a Public Charitable Trust (Regn. No. E-16342) (Mumbai). Mumbai’s kindness towards the poor has been channelled through the Fulora Foundation.
How Fulora Foundation has strived to reach our goodwill to all spheres of society is clearly evident in the various projects it has undertaken so far. Equally far-sighted and promising are the many projects that are still in the process of being planned and initiated. The different projects that Fulora Foundation has undertaken so far demonstrate how it has worked to bring our goodwill to all levels of society. The many projects that are still in the planning and implementation stages are also far-sighted and exciting.
