Dr. Ram Joshi (died September 14, 1998) was a distinguished educator and served as the Vice-Chancellor of the University of Mumbai from 1977 to 1983. He was instrumental in shaping higher education in Mumbai and was a pioneer in reforming pre-school education, advocating for the "play-way" method.
